M.O.T. TESTING
Completed while you wait, by appointment only. All cars and light vans including diesels. We offer a
FREE RE-TEST in the event of a failure, providing we carried out the original test and it is returned to us
by previous appointment within 14 days. We suggest an early appointment is made. A full rectification service is offered.

ROUTINE SERVICING
Many years ago we prepared our own service schedules (now very much in demand) for what we called a standard service or a full service.
A standard service takes approximately 1½ hours while the full service takes up to 6 hours. The fixed prices we quote for our scheduled
services includes quality oil. oil filter and VAT.
Manufacturers routine servicing to all makes and to their respective schedules can also be carried out, if required, to a fixed price quote.
Any additional work that is required will be carried out only with your approval and quoted to a fixed agreed price where possible.

CAM BELTS
Cam belts now replace the timing chains on most cars. Introduced to volume production cars in 1967, at the time of introduction it was said that they were
indestructable, they are now fitted to most production cars but do break if they are not checked or changed at the correct mileage or service interval.
How many times we hear "I should have had it changed on the last service but...." when towed in and being faced with the prospect of a heavy unwanted repair bill.
By the shear volume we fit, we consider ourselves specialists.

MAJOR MECHANICAL REPAIRS
With our engine fault diagnostic department and the failure of cam belts we regularly have need to, and do, carry out major repairs to most cars from Mini to Mercedes
including popular diesels.

RADIATORS
Radiators for most cars can be supplied and fitted at very competitive prices and are guaranteed, they are usually obtainable within a couple of hours. Most radiators
we supply carry a countrywide guarantee, please ask.

SHOCK ABSORBERS and SUSPENSION
Shock absorbers form part of the suspension. Most people are not aware of how important shock absorbers are in terms of safety in the form of stability and only expect to
replace them when the car fails an M.O.T. The purpose of shock absorbers is to enable the cars wheels to follow the contours of the road at all tinmes by eliminating
wheel bounce. Good shock absorbers ensure the car is safer on fast bends, cornering, braking and will reduce tyre wear. With our special tools we are able to fit most shock
absorbers and replacement struts and carry out other suspension repairs to most cars. We are an authorised MONROE SHOCK ABSORBER INSTALLER.
Servicing and repairs by experienced staff. 80% of our workshop staff have been with us between 5 and 16 years.
